Account Deletion
We value your privacy and provide you with the ability to delete your account at any time. Before proceeding, please read the following important information:
What Happens When You Delete Your Account:
- Data Removal: All your personal data associated with your Wakwetu account will be permanently deleted from our servers. This includes your profile information, preferences, saved locations, and any other data linked to your account.
- Irreversible Action: Once you delete your account, this action cannot be undone. You will need to create a new account if you decide to use the Wakwetu App in the future.
- Active Subscriptions: If you have any active subscriptions, please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel them. Please cancel your subscriptions before deleting your account.
How to Delete Your Account:
In-App Deletion:
- Go to the “Settings” menu in the Wakwetu App.
- Scroll down and select “Account.”
- Tap on “Delete Account.”
- Confirm your decision by entering your password and tapping “Delete.”
Request via Email:
- You can also request account deletion by emailing us at info@wakwetu.com
- Please include your account email and username in the request.
Important Considerations:
- Compliance with Legal Obligations: Even after deletion, certain data may be retained for a period of time to comply with legal obligations or for dispute resolution.
- Processing Time: Account deletion requests may take up to 30 days to process.
